Monday, we start at Brighton there was a winner for Richard Fahey as Marie Of Lyon took the feature race. The great day for Richard Fahey continued at Carlisle as he secured a treble with Ocean Voyage, Powerful Society, and Billy Bond. There was also a double on the Carlisle card for Johnny Murtagh with Les Arceaux and Passionata. At Worcester, the beginners' chase went to talented hurdler Wait For Me. It was a remarkable ride from Richard Johnson as Wait For Me jumped very average. Wait For Me looked booked for third at best jumping the last. Johnson galvanized his mount to win by a half-length. Wait For Me was advised to our members' 3pts win at 11/10. The two-mile handicap the feature race went to Vosne Romanee who produced a great run to win. At Galway, there was a double for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh with Stratum and Contingency.
Tuesday, we start at Redcar. The feature race went to Kynren who was an impressive three-length winner for Ben Curtis and David Barron. At Chepstow, the concluding two-mile handicap went to Alan King and Hollie Doyle with Kozier. At Yarmouth, there was a double for Jim Crowley on board Mutaaqeb and Poet's Society. At Newcastle, I was very impressed with Tansheet who took the novice stakes. At Galway, there was a double for Hazapour and Airlie Beach who will now be retired to the paddocks. Airlie Beach once again demonstrates the versatility of Willie Mullins as a trainer.
Wednesday, we start at Sandown there was a treble for Jim Crowley on board Kitaabaat, Wafy and The Statesman. At Beverley, the feature race went to David Barron and Ben Curtis with Bolder Bob. At Yarmouth, there was a double for Colm O'Donoghue with Imperial Past and Beautiful Morning. The victory of Beautiful Morning gave Jessica Harrington a listed winner on the flat in the UK. There was also a double at Yarmouth for Ryan Moore on Regal Reality and Swiftsure. At Kelso, the novice hurdle went in impressive style to Sweet Holly who saw off Man Look by eight lengths. Man Look was advised to our members 1pt each way at 11/2 placed. At Fairyhouse, there was a listed across the card listed double for Jessica Harrington as Brick By Brick won. There was a double on the card for Jessica Harrington as Nearly famous completed a double for Shane Foley and Jessica Harrington. At Fairyhouse, there were two old warhorses won on the card as Bubbly Bellini made it the 19th career win. The other old warhorse to win was Tudor City.
Thursday, Ayr was abandoned due to waterlogging. At Ballinrobe, there was a double for Denis Hogan with Foxy Lass and Eiri Na Casca. There was also a double for Ruby Walsh on board Court Artist and Call It Magic. There was a comeback win for Nina Carberry on board Cask Mate. At Yarmouth, there was really well-backed winner in Gabr. At Pontefract, the feature race went to Marie Of Lyon for Richard Fahey and Adam McNamara. At Chelmsford, there was a double Josephine Gordon on board Encrypted and Arcadian Sea.
Friday, Ayr was abandoned due to waterlogging. We start at Newbury there was a treble for trainer Richard Hannon as Orange Suit, Rogue and Tabarrak. The victory for Tabarrak came in the feature race on the card. Tabarrak was advised to our members 1pt each way at 11/2. At Newcastle, the two-mile handicap went to Waiting For Richie who held off On Fire and Dominating by a neck and a half-length. Dominating advised to our members 1pt each way at 5/1. Tabarrak & Dominating advised to our members 0.5pt each way double both placed. At Newton Abbott, it was a day of doubles. There was a double for Paul Nicholls with Diego Du Charmil and Amour Du Nuit. There was also a double for Nick Williams with Gamain and Cabernet D'alene.
At Downpatrick, there was a double for Jack Kennedy on board Charms Bracelet and Poormans Hill. Nina Carberry made it two winners in two days on board Roseriver in the bumper. At Dundalk, our own syndicate horse Mokhalad made his debut we stepped him up a long way in the trip, Mokhalad did not stay so we will go back in trip next time. At least we know now and we can plan accordingly. On the night there was a double for John James Feane with Six Silver Lane and Pure Action.
Saturday, we start at Newbury. There was a double for John Gosden with Fennaan and Emaraaty. The Group 3 Legacy stakes went to Desert Encounter who held off Second Step by a neck. Second Step advised to our members 1pt each way at 9/2. The Dubai duty-free handicap over 1 mile 2 furlongs went in good style to Brorocco who deservedly got his turn. Brorocco advised to our members 1pt each way at 14/1. The Dubai International Airport Trophy stakes over five furlongs went to Take Cover who saw off Cotai Glory and Muthmir in a good finish. At Newmarket, the Cesarwitch trial went to Who Dares giving Alan King a 1-2 as Coeur De Lion finished second. Who Dares Wins 310 Newmarket (7/1) & Muthmir 400 Newbury 6/1 advised to our members 0.5pt each way double both placed.
At Catterick, a rare Saturday meeting saw the feature race go to Mr Sundowner. At Wolverhampton, Our Man Havana was an impressive for Tom Dascombe and Richard Kingscote. At Navan, there were winners for Gordon Elliott and Joesph O'Brien with Mengli Khan and Lets Twist Again.
At Naas, Rennetti took the group 3 Loughbrown Stakes by five lengths. There was a group 3 double for Karl Burke with Ellthea and Quiet Reflection. At Uttoxeter, there was a double for Charlie Longsden and Johnny Burke with Vivas and Midnight Shot. I think the partnership of Longsden and Burke could be a lucrative one to follow in the autumn. There was also a double for Paddy Brennan with Solesauvage and Aristocracy. At Plumpton, there was a double for trainer Chris Gordon with Ramore Will and Rob Robin.
