At Leicester, there was a double for Jim Crowley on board Encore D'or and Eraad. At Newcastle, there was a double for Gerald Moose on board Trautmann and Toshima. At Galway, there was a double for Willie Mullins with Sancta Simona and Voix Du Reve. There was also a double for Gordon Elliott with Woods Well and Penny Jane.
Wednesday, we start at Nottingham where there was a double for James Doyle on board Star Safari and Alnadir. At Ludlow, there was a double for Richard Johnson on board Chilli Filli and Lord Condi. At Southwell, over the jumps, Fidux bolted up for Alan King. At Kempton, Alan King made it an across the card double as Caspar The Cub was on target. At Cork, there was a double for Aidan O'Brien with Coral Beach and Credenza. There were also doubles for Joseph O'Brien an Gavin Cromwell. The Joseph O'Brien double contained Ship Of Dreams and Kings Field. The Gavin Cromwell double saw Inamorare and Fuiwart get the job done. The victory for Fuiwart was good news for our members advised to our members(1pt each way) at 11/2.
Thursday, we start at Worcester Tom O'Brien an Philip Hobbs shared a double with Thyme Hill and Awake At Midnight. At Ayr, there was a double for Keith Dalgleish with Epona and Iconic Code. There was also a winner for Gordon Elliott with Cubomania. At Bangor, Elliott completed an across the card double with Cold Shoulder. At Chelmsford, there was a double for Simon Crisford with Aldana and Archetype.
Friday, we start at Newmarket. Sergei Prokofiev put it together on a big day charging through with an impressive turn of foot. The feature race went to the O'Brien family as Joseph claimed the fillies mile with Iridessa. The group 2 Challenge Stakes went to Limato. At Newton Abbot, there was some really interesting racing. It turned out to be a flag day for the Bowen family. There was a double for Peter and Sean Bowen as Beggars Wish and Rolling Maul landed two good prizes. The novice chase went to the talented Marias Benefit. At York, the feature race went to Mark Johnston and Silvestre De Sousa with Elegiac. At Wolverhampton, Irish trainer John Feane was on target with Billyfairplay. At Downpatrick, there was a double for Gavin Cromwell with A Place Apart and Moonball. At Dundalk, I took a spin up after work. I thought the track was riding slow but will have to look into that further. There was a remarkable four-timer for Michael Halford with Playa Del -Puente, Lunas Luck, Lady De Vesci and Ahlan Bil Zain. The first three named horses formed a treble for Ronan Whelan. The feature race went to Global Giant who bolted up for Ed Dunlop.
Saturday, we start at Limerick where Mokhalad was in action. We were incredibly unlucky with the weather. It lashed rain all day turning the ground heavy. Mokhalad in the circumstances ran a tremendous race. We were delighted with his run, showing tremendous courage to finish fifth. Mokhalad will head for Leopardstown next week hopefully as long as it's not extremes in the ground we should be very competitive. On the track, there was a treble for Andrew Slattery onboard Insignia Of Rank, Yo Tambien and Nothing To Lose. At Fairyhouse, there was a dead heat between Mandarin Monarch and Toor General. At Newmarket, the Dewhurst saw a brilliant display from Too Darn Hot who was a very impressive winner by two and three parts of a length. The Cesarewitch saw a 1-2 for Willie Mullins as Low Sun And Uradel fought out an epic finish. At Hexham, there was a double for Lucinda Russell with Misfits and Rivabodiva. At Chepstow, there was a double for Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden with Posh Trish and Grand Sancy. At York, the feature race went to Major Jumbo for Kevin Ryan. At Chelmsford, there was a treble for Oisin Murphy on board Furious, Lethal Angel and Dame Nellie.
Sunday, we start at Limerick. There was a treble on the day for Gordon Elliott with Boot Camp, Tombstone and Water Sprite. The feature race was the Munster Grand National it went to Spider Web who came with an incredible late rattle to win for JP McManus. At Navan, there was a double for Aidan O'Brien with All The Kings Men and Peach Tree. The Irish Cesarewitch went to Brazos who saw off Davids Charm in a good finish. Davids Charm advised to our members(1pt each way) at 10/1. At Chepstow, there was a treble for Harry Cobden on board Secret Investor, Kings Lad, and McFabulous. At Goodwood, there was a double for Adam Kirby with Now Children and Sparklealot. There was also a double for Oisin Murphy with Alaadel and Macaque.
